तत्रासीनं सुरऋषिं राजा पाण्डुसुतः क्रतौ । पप्रच्छ विस्मितमना मुनीनां शृण्वतामिदम् ॥ ७-१-१४ ॥
Therefore, struck with wonder, he inquired about the reason for this from the great sage Nārada, who was seated there. While he inquired, all the sages present also heard him ask his question. ॥ 7-1-14 ॥

अतएव आश्चर्यचकित होकर उन्होंने वहीं पर बैठे महर्षि नारद से इसका कारण पूछा। जब उन्होंने यह प्रश्न पूछा तो वहाँ पर उपस्थित सारे ऋषियों ने भी इस प्रश्न को पूछे जाते सुना। ॥ ७-१-१४ ॥
