ऋणैस्त्रिभिरमुक्तानाममीमांसितकर्मणाम् । विघातः श्रेयसः पाप लोकयोरुभयोः कृतः ।। ६-५-३७ ।।

sanskrit

Prajāpati Dakṣa said: My sons were not at all freed from their three debts. Indeed, they did not properly consider their obligations. O Nārada Muni, O personality of sinful action, you have obstructed their progress toward good fortune in this world and the next because they are still indebted to the saintly persons, the demigods and their father. ।। 6-5-37 ।।

english translation

प्रजापति दक्ष ने कहा : मेरे पुत्र अपने तीन ऋणों से मुक्त भी नहीं हुए थे। दरअसल, उन्होंने ठीक से अपने कर्तव्यों पर विचार भी नहीं किया था। रे नारदमुनि! रे साक्षात् पापकर्म! तुमने इस जगत में उनके सौभाग्य की प्रगति में बाधा डाली है और दूसरी बात यह कि अभी भी वे सन्त पुरुषों, देवताओं तथा अपने पिता के ऋणी हैं। ।। ६-५-३७ ।।
