रूपं तन्महदाश्चर्यं विचक्ष्यागतसाध्वसः । ननाम दण्डवद्भूमौ प्रहृष्टात्मा प्रजापतिः ।। ६-४-४० ।।

sanskrit

Seeing that wonderful and effulgent form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Prajāpati Dakṣa was first somewhat afraid, but then he was very pleased to see the Lord, and he fell to the ground like a stick to offer his respects to the Lord. ।। 6-4-40 ।।

english translation

भगवान् के उस अद्भुत तथा तेजवान स्वरूप को देखकर प्रजापति दक्ष पहले तो कुछ भयभीत हुए, किन्तु बाद में भगवान् को देखकर अतीव प्रसन्न हुए और उन्हें नमस्कार करने के लिए भूमि पर दण्डवत् गिर पड़े। ।। ६-४-४० ।।

rUpaM tanmahadAzcaryaM vicakSyAgatasAdhvasaH | nanAma daNDavadbhUmau prahRSTAtmA prajApatiH || 6-4-40 ||
