धिङ् मां विगर्हितं सद्भिर्दुष्कृतं कुलकज्जलम् । हित्वा बालां सतीं योऽहं सुरापामसतीमगाम् ।। ६-२-२७ ।।

Alas, all condemnation upon me! I acted so sinfully that I degraded my family tradition. Indeed, I gave up my chaste and beautiful young wife to have sexual intercourse with a fallen prostitute accustomed to drinking wine. All condemnation upon me! ।। 6-2-27 ।।

english translation

हाय! मुझे धिक्कार है। मैंने इतना पापपूर्ण कार्य किया है कि अपनी मैने कुल-परम्परा को लज्जित किया है। दरअसल, मैंने शराब पीने वाली पतित वेश्या के साथ संभोग करने के लिए अपनी सती तथा सुन्दर युवा पत्नी को त्याग दिया है। धिक्कार है मुझे। ।। ६-२-२७ ।।
