Srimad Bhagavatam
अहो अद्येन्द्रियारामो योषिन्मय्येह मायया । गृहीतचेताः कृपणः पतिष्ये नरके ध्रुवम् ॥ ६-१८-३९ ॥
Kaśyapa Muni thought: Alas, I have now become too attached to material enjoyment. Taking advantage of this, my mind has been attracted by the illusory energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the form of a woman ॥ my wife॥. Therefore I am surely a wretched person who will glide down toward hell. ॥ 6-18-39 ॥

कश्यप मुनि ने सोचा, ओह! मैं अब भौतिक सुख के प्रति अत्यधिक आसक्त हो चुका हूँ। अत: इस अवसर का लाभ उठाकर मेरा मन श्रीभगवान् की माया द्वारा स्त्री (अपनी पत्नी) के रूप में आकृष्ट हुआ है। अत: मैं अत्यन्त नीच हूँ और अवश्य ही नरक में जा गिरूँगा। ॥ ६-१८-३९ ॥
