पपात बालस्य स पादमूले मृतस्य विस्रस्तशिरोरुहाम्बरः । दीर्घं श्वसन् बाष्पकलोपरोधतो निरुद्धकण्ठो न शशाक भाषितुम् ।। ६-१४-५१ ।।

sanskrit

The King approached and fell unconscious at the child’s feet, his hair and dress scattered. When the King, breathing heavily, regained consciousness, his eyes were tearful, and he could not speak. ।। 6-14-51 ।।

english translation

वह राजा वहाँ पहुँचा और उस बालक के चरणों पर अचेत होकर गिर पड़ा। उसके बाल तथा वस्त्र अस्त-व्यस्त हो गये। जब दीर्घ श्वास लेते हुए राजा को होश आया तो उसके नेत्र आसुओं से भरे हुए थे और वह बोल नहीं पा रहा था। ।। ६-१४-५१ ।।
