तेन देवगणाः सर्वे वृत्रविस्फोटनेन वै । निपेतुर्मूर्च्छिता भूमौ यथैवाशनिना हताः ॥ ६-११-७ ॥

sanskrit

When all the demigods heard Vṛtrāsura’s tumultuous roar, which resembled that of a lion, they fainted and fell to the ground as if struck by thunderbolts. ॥ 6-11-7 ॥

english translation

जब समस्त देवताओं ने वृत्रासुर की सिंह जैसी भयानक गर्जना सुनी तो वे मूर्च्छित होकर पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़े, मानो उन पर वज्रपात हुआ हो। ॥ ६-११-७ ॥

tena devagaNAH sarve vRtravisphoTanena vai । nipeturmUrcchitA bhUmau yathaivAzaninA hatAH ॥ 6-11-7 ॥
