न तेऽदृश्यन्त सञ्छन्नाः शरजालैः समन्ततः । पुङ्खानुपुङ्खपतितैर्ज्योतींषीव नभोघनैः ।। ६-१०-२४ ।।

sanskrit

As the stars in the sky cannot be seen when covered by dense clouds, the demigods, being completely covered by networks of arrows falling upon them one after another, could not be seen. ।। 6-10-24 ।।

english translation

जिस प्रकार घने बादलों के आकाश में छा जाने के बाद तारे नहीं दिखाई पड़ते उसी प्रकार एक के बाद एक गिरने वाले बाणों के जाल से पूर्णतया आच्छादित हो जाने से देवतागण दिखाई नहीं पड़ रहे थे। ।। ६-१०-२४ ।।
