Armed with lances, tridents, axes, swords and other weapons like śataghnīs and bhuśuṇḍis, the demons attacked from different directions and scattered all the chiefs of the demigod armies. ।। 6-10-23 ।।

बर्छों, त्रिशूलों, फरसों, तलवारों तथा शतघ्नी एवं भुशुण्डी जैसे अन्य हथियारों से सुसज्जित होकर असुरों ने विभिन्न दिशाओं से आक्रमण कर दिया और देवताओं की सेना के समस्त नायकों को तितर-बितर कर दिया। ।। ६-१०-२३ ।।
