एकदासौ वनं यातः पितृसन्देशकृद्द्विजः । आदाय तत आवृत्तः फलपुष्पसमित्कुशान् ।। ६-१-५८ ।।

sanskrit

Once this brāhmaṇa Ajāmila, following the order of his father, went to the forest to collect fruit, flowers and two kinds of grass, called samit and kuśa. ।। 6-1-58 ।।

english translation

एक बार यह ब्राह्मण अजामिल अपने पिता का आदेश पालन करते हुए जंगल से फल, फूल तथा समित् और कुश नामक दो प्रकार की घासें लाने जंगल गया। ।। ६-१-५८ ।।

hindi translation

ekadAsau vanaM yAtaH pitRsandezakRddvijaH | AdAya tata AvRttaH phalapuSpasamitkuzAn || 6-1-58 ||
