श्रीभगवानुवाच त्वयोदितं शोभनमेव शोभने अनाहुता अप्यभियन्ति बन्धुषु । ते यद्यनुत्पादितदोषदृष्टयो बलीयसानात्म्यमदेन मन्युना ।। ४-३-१६ ।।

sanskrit

The great lord replied: My dear beautiful wife, you have said that one may go to a friend’s house without being invited, and this is true, provided such a friend does not find fault with the guest because of bodily identification and thereby become angry towards him. ।। 4-3-16 ।।

english translation

प्रभु ने उत्तर दिया : हे सुन्दरी, तुमने कहा कि अपने मित्र के घर बिना बुलाये जाया जा सकता है। यह सच है, किन्तु तब जब वह देहात्मबोध के कारण अतिथि में दोष न निकाले और उस पर क्रुद्ध न हो। ।। ४-३-१६ ।।

zrIbhagavAnuvAca tvayoditaM zobhanameva zobhane anAhutA apyabhiyanti bandhuSu | te yadyanutpAditadoSadRSTayo balIyasAnAtmyamadena manyunA || 4-3-16 ||
