पावकः पवमानश्च शुचिरित्यग्नयः पुरा । वसिष्ठशापादुत्पन्नाः पुनर्योगगतिं गताः ।। ४-२४-४ ।।

sanskrit

The three sons of Mahārāja Antardhāna were named Pāvaka, Pavamāna and Śuci. Formerly these three personalities were the demigods of fire, but due to the curse of the great sage Vasiṣṭha, they became the sons of Mahārāja Antardhāna. As such, they were as powerful as the fire-gods, and they attained the destination of mystic yoga power, being again situated as the demigods of fire. ।। 4-24-4 ।।

english translation

महाराज अन्तर्धान के तीनों पुत्रों के नाम थे पावक, पवमान तथा शुचि। पूर्वकाल में ये तीनों व्यक्ति अग्निदेव थे, परन्तु वसिष्ठ ऋषि के शाप से वे महाराज अन्तर्धान के पुत्रों के रूप में उत्पन्न हुए; फलत: वे अग्निदेवों के ही समान शक्तिमान थे और फिर से अग्निदेवों के रूप में स्थित होने के कारण उन्होंने योगशक्ति का पद प्राप्त किया। ।। ४-२४-४ ।।
