दौहित्रादीन् ऋते मृत्योः शोच्यान् धर्मविमोहितान् । वर्गस्वर्गापवर्गाणां प्रायेणैकात्म्यहेतुना ।। ४-२१-३० ।।

sanskrit

Although abominable persons like my father, Vena, the grandson of death personified, are bewildered on the path of religion, all the great personalities like those mentioned agree that in this world the only bestower of the benedictions of religion, economic development, sense gratification, liberation or elevation to the heavenly planets is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ।। 4-21-30 ।।

english translation

यद्यपि धर्म के पथ पर साक्षात् मृत्यु के दौहित्र तथा मेरे पिता वेन जैसे शोचनीय पुरुष मोहग्रस्त हो जाते हैं, किन्तु ऊपर जिन समस्त महापुरुषों का उल्लेख हुआ है, वे यह स्वीकार करते हैं कि चतुर्वर्गों—धर्म, अर्थ, काम तथा मोक्ष—का अथवा स्वर्ग के एकमात्र दाता पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम परमेश्वर हैं। ।। ४-२१-३० ।।
