अस्मिन् लोकेऽथवामुष्मिन् मुनिभिस्तत्त्वदर्शिभिः । दृष्टा योगाः प्रयुक्ताश्च पुंसां श्रेयःप्रसिद्धये ।। ४-१८-३ ‌‌।।

To benefit all human society, not only in this life but in the next, the great seers and sages have prescribed various methods conducive to the prosperity of the people in general. ।। 4-18-3 ।।

english translation

मानव समाज को इस जीवन में ही नहीं वरन् अगले जन्म में भी लाभ पहुँचाने के लिए बड़े बड़े ऋषियों तथा मुनियों ने जनता की सम्पन्नता के अनुकूल विभिन्न विधियों की संस्तुति की है। ।। ४-१८-३ ।।
