तथाहयो दन्दशूकाः सर्पा नागाश्च तक्षकम् । विधाय वत्सं दुदुहुर्बिलपात्रे विषं पयः ।। ४-१८-२२ ।।

sanskrit

Thereafter cobras and snakes without hoods, large snakes, scorpions and many other poisonous animals took poison out of the planet earth as their milk and kept this poison in snake holes. They made a calf out of Takṣaka. ।। 4-18-22 ।।

english translation

तत्पश्चात् फनवाले तथा बिना फनवाले साँपों, नागों, बिच्छुओं तथा अन्य विषैले पशुओं ने पृथ्वी के दूध के रूप में अपना-अपना विष दुह लिया और इस विष को साँप के बिलों में रख दिया। उन्होंने तक्षक को बछड़ा बनाया था। ।। ४-१८-२२ ।।

tathAhayo dandazUkAH sarpA nAgAzca takSakam | vidhAya vatsaM duduhurbilapAtre viSaM payaH || 4-18-22 ||
