यमङ्ग शेपुः कुपिता वाग्वज्रा मुनयः किल । गतासोस्तस्य भूयस्ते ममन्थुर्दक्षिणं करम् ॥ ४-१३-१९ ॥

My dear Vidura, when great sages curse, their words are as invincible as a thunderbolt. Thus when they cursed King Vena out of anger, he died. And the great sages took the right hand of Vena as a churning rod ॥ 4-13-19 ॥

english translation

हे विदुर, जब ऋषिगण शाप देते हैं, तो उनके शब्द वज्र के समान कठोर होते हैं। अत: जब उन्होंने क्रोधवश वेन को शाप दे दिया तो वह मर गया। और ऋषियों ने वेन की दाहिनी भुजा को दण्ड मथनी बना लिया । ॥ ४-१३-१९ ॥
