यद्भ्राजमानं स्वरुचैव सर्वतो लोकास्त्रयो ह्यनुविभ्राजन्त एते । यन्नाव्रजन् जन्तुषु येऽननुग्रहा व्रजन्ति भद्राणि चरन्ति येऽनिशम् ॥ ४-१२-३६ ॥

The self-effulgent Vaikuṇṭha planets, by whose illumination alone all the illuminating planets within this material world give off reflected light, cannot be reached by those who are not merciful to other living entities. Only persons who constantly engage in welfare activities for other living entities can reach the Vaikuṇṭha planets. ॥ 4-12-36 ॥

english translation

जो लोग दूसरे जीवों पर दयालु नहीं होते, वे स्वतेजोमय इन वैकुण्ठलोकों में नहीं पहुँच पाते, जिनके प्रकाश से इस भौतिक ब्रह्माण्ड के सभी लोक प्रकाशित हैं। जो व्यक्ति निरन्तर अन्य प्राणियों के कल्याणकारी कार्यों में लगे रहते हैं, केवल वे ही वैकुण्ठलोक पहुँच पाते हैं। ॥ ४-१२-३६ ॥

शान्ताः समदृशः शुद्धाः सर्वभूतानुरञ्जनाः । यान्त्यञ्जसाच्युतपदमच्युतप्रियबान्धवाः ॥ ४-१२-३७ ॥

Persons who are peaceful, equipoised, cleansed and purified, and who know the art of pleasing all other living entities, keep friendship only with devotees of the Lord; they alone can very easily achieve the perfection of going back home, back to Godhead. ॥ 4-12-37 ॥

english translation

जो शान्त, समदर्शी तथा पवित्र हैं तथा जो अन्य सभी जीवात्माओं को प्रसन्न करने की कला जानते हैं, वे भगवान् के भक्तों से ही मित्रता रखते हैं। केवल वे ही वापस घर को अर्थात् भगवान् के धाम को सरलता से जाने में सफलता प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। ॥ ४-१२-३७ ॥

इत्युत्तानपदः पुत्रो ध्रुवः कृष्णपरायणः । अभूत्त्रयाणां लोकानां चूडामणिरिवामलः ॥ ४-१२-३८ ॥

In this way, the fully Kṛṣṇa conscious Dhruva Mahārāja, the exalted son of Mahārāja Uttānapāda, attained the summit of the three statuses of planetary systems. ॥ 4-12-38‌ ॥

इस प्रकार महाराज उत्तानपाद के अति सम्माननीय पुत्र, पूरी तरह से कृष्णभावनाभावित ध्रुव महाराज ने तीनों लोकों में सर्वोच्च स्थान प्राप्त किया। ॥ ४-१२-३८ ॥

गम्भीरवेगोऽनिमिषं ज्योतिषां चक्रमाहितम् । यस्मिन् भ्रमति कौरव्य मेढ्यामिव गवां गणः ॥ ४-१२-३९ ॥

Saint Maitreya continued: My dear Vidura, descendant of Kuru, as a herd of bulls circumambulates a central pole on their right side, all the luminaries within the universal sky unceasingly circumambulate the abode of Dhruva Mahārāja with great force and speed. ॥ 4-12-39 ॥

english translation

सन्त मैत्रेय ने आगे कहा : हे कौरव वंशी विदुर, जिस प्रकार बैल अपनी दाईं ओर बँाधे मध्यवर्ती लट्ठे के चारों ओर चक्कर लगाते हैं, उसी प्रकार आकाश के सभी नक्षत्र अत्यन्त वेग से ध्रुव महाराज के धाम का निरन्तर चक्कर लगाते रहते हैं। ॥ ४-१२-३९ ॥

महिमानं विलोक्यास्य नारदो भगवान् ऋषिः । आतोद्यं वितुदञ्श्लोकान् सत्रेऽगायत्प्रचेतसाम् ॥ ४-१२-४० ॥

After observing the glories of Dhruva Mahārāja, the great sage Nārada, playing his vīṇā, went to the sacrificial arena of the Pracetās and very happily chanted the following three verses. ॥ 4-12-40 ॥

ध्रुव महाराज की महिमा को देख कर, नारद मुनि अपनी वीणा बजाते प्रचेताओं के यज्ञस्थल पर गये और प्रसन्नतापूर्वक निम्नलिखित तीन श्लोकों का उच्चार किया। ॥ ४-१२-४० ॥
