तां कामयानां भगवानुवाह यजुषां पतिः । तुष्टायां तोषमापन्नोऽजनयद्द्वादशात्मजान् ।। ४-१-६ ।।

sanskrit

The Lord of the ritualistic performance of yajña later married Dakṣiṇā, who was anxious to have the Personality of Godhead as her husband, and in this wife the Lord was also very much pleased to beget twelve children. ।। 4-1-6 ।।

english translation

यज्ञों के स्वामी भगवान् ने बाद में दक्षिणा के साथ विवाह कर लिया, जो पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान्, को अपने पति रूप में प्राप्त करने के लिए परम इच्छुक थी। उनकी इस पत्नी से उन्हें बारह पुत्र प्राप्त हुए। ।। ४-१-५ ।।
