प्रजापतिः स भगवान् रुचिस्तस्यामजीजनत् । मिथुनं ब्रह्मवर्चस्वी परमेण समाधिना ॥ ४-१-३ ।‌।

Ruci, who was very powerful in his brahminical qualifications and was appointed one of the progenitors of the living entities, begot one son and one daughter by his wife, Ākūti. ।‌। 4-1-3 ॥

english translation

अपने ब्रह्मज्ञान में परम शक्तिशाली एवं जीवात्माओं के जनक के रूप में नियुक्त (प्रजापति) रुचि को उनकी पत्नी आकूति के गर्भ से एक पुत्र और एक पुत्री उत्पन्न हुए। ॥ ४-१-३ ।‌।

prajApatiH sa bhagavAn rucistasyAmajIjanat । mithunaM brahmavarcasvI parameNa samAdhinA ॥ 4-1-3 ।‌।
