विचक्षणा यच्चरणोपसादनात् सङ्गं व्युदस्योभयतोऽन्तरात्मनः । विन्दन्ति हि ब्रह्मगतिं गतक्लमास्तस्मै सुभद्रश्रवसे नमो नमः ॥ २-४-१६ ॥
Let me offer my respectful obeisances again and again unto the all-auspicious Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. The highly intellectual, simply by surrendering unto His lotus feet, are relieved of all attachments to present and future existences and without difficulty progress toward spiritual existence. ॥ 2-4-16 ॥

मैं सर्व-मंगलमय भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण को बारम्बार प्रणाम करता हूँ। उनके चरण-कमलों की शरण ग्रहण करने मात्र से उच्च कोटि के बुद्धिमान जन वर्तमान तथा भावी जगत की सारी आसक्तियों से छुटकारा पा जाते हैं और बिना किसी कठिनाई के आध्यात्मिक जगत की ओर अग्रसर होते हैं। ॥ २-४-१६ ॥

तपस्विनो दानपरा यशस्विनो मनस्विनो मन्त्रविदः सुमङ्गलाः । क्षेमं न विन्दन्ति विना यदर्पणं तस्मै सुभद्रश्रवसे नमो नमः ॥ २-४-१७ ॥
Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto the all-auspicious Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa again and again because the great learned sages, the great performers of charity, the great workers of distinction, the great philosophers and mystics, the great chanters of the Vedic hymns and the great followers of Vedic principles cannot achieve any fruitful result without dedication of such great qualities to the service of the Lord. ॥ 2-4-17 ॥

मैं समस्त मंगलमय भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण को पुन: पुन: सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ, क्योंकि बड़े बड़े विद्वान ऋषि, बड़े-बड़े दानी, यश-लब्ध कार्यकर्ता, बड़े-बड़े दार्शनिक तथा योगी, बड़े बड़े वेदपाठी तथा बड़े-बड़े वैदिक सिद्धान्तों के बड़े-बड़े अनुयायी तक भी ऐसे महान् गुणों को भगवान् की सेवा में समर्पित किये बिना कोई क्षेम (कुशलता) प्राप्त नहीं कर पाते। ॥ २-४-१७ ॥

किरातहूणान्ध्रपुलिन्दपुल्कसा आभीरकङ्का यवनाः खसादयः । येऽन्ये च पापा यदपाश्रयाश्रयाः शुध्यन्ति तस्मै प्रभविष्णवे नमः ॥ २-४-१८ ॥
Kirāta, Hūṇa, Āndhra, Pulinda, Pulkaśa, Ābhīra, Śumbha, Yavana, members of the Khasa races and even others addicted to sinful acts can be purified by taking shelter of the devotees of the Lord, due to His being the supreme power. I beg to offer my respectful obeisances unto Him. ॥ 2-4-18 ॥

किरात, हूण, आन्ध्र, पुलिन्द, पुल्कश, आभीर, शुम्भ, यवन, खस आदि जातियों के सदस्य तथा अन्य लोग, जो पाप कर्मों में लिप्त रहते हुए परम शक्तिशाली भगवान् के भक्तों की शरण ग्रहण करके शुद्ध हो सकते हैं, मैं उन भगवान् को सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ। ॥ २-४-१८ ॥

He is the Supersoul and the Supreme Lord of all self-realized souls. He is the personification of the Vedas, religious scriptures and austerities. He is worshiped by Lord Brahmā and Śiva and all those who are transcendental to all pretensions. Being so revered with awe and veneration, may that Supreme Absolute be pleased with me. ॥ 2-4-19 ॥

वे परमात्मा हैं तथा समस्त स्वरूपसिद्ध पुरुषों के परमेश्वर हैं। वे साक्षात् वेद, धर्मग्रंथ (शास्त्र) तथा तपस्या हैं। वे ब्रह्माजी, शिवजी तथा कपट से रहित समस्त व्यक्तियों द्वारा पूजित हैं। आश्चर्य तथा सम्मान से ऐसे पूजित होनेवाले पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम मुझ पर प्रसन्न हों। ॥ २-४-१९ ॥

May Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is the worshipable Lord of all devotees, the protector and glory of all the kings like Andhaka and Vṛṣṇi of the Yadu dynasty, the husband of all goddesses of fortune, the director of all sacrifices and therefore the leader of all living entities, the controller of all intelligence, the proprietor of all planets, spiritual and material, and the supreme incarnation on the earth (the supreme all in all), be merciful upon me. ॥ 2-4-20 ॥

भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण, जो समस्त भक्तों द्वारा पूज्य हैं, यदुवंश के अंधक तथा वृष्णि जैसे समस्त राजाओं के रक्षक तथा उनके यश हैं, लक्ष्मी देवी के पति, समस्त यज्ञों के निर्देशक अतएव समस्त जीवों के अग्रणी, समस्त बुद्धि के नियन्ता, समस्त दिव्य एवं भौतिक लोकों के अधिष्ठाता तथा पृथ्वी पर परम अवतार (सर्वेसर्वा) हैं, वे मुझ पर कृपालु हों। ॥ २-४-२० ॥
