सैषा विष्णोर्महामायाबाध्ययालक्षणा यया । मुह्यन्त्यस्यैवात्मभूता भूतेषु गुणवृत्तिभिः ।। १२-६-२९ ।।

sanskrit

This is indeed the Supreme Lord Viṣṇu’s illusory energy, which is unstoppable and difficult to perceive. Although the individual spirit souls are part and parcel of the Lord, through the influence of this illusory energy they are bewildered by their identification with various material bodies. ।। 12-6-29 ।।

english translation

यह वास्तव में परम भगवान विष्णु की मायावी ऊर्जा है, जो अजेय और समझने में कठिन है। यद्यपि व्यक्तिगत आत्माएं भगवान का अभिन्न अंग हैं, फिर भी इस मायावी ऊर्जा के प्रभाव से वे विभिन्न भौतिक शरीरों के साथ अपनी पहचान से भ्रमित हो जाते हैं। ।। १२-६-२९ ।।
