द्विपरार्धे त्वतिक्रान्ते ब्रह्मणः परमेष्ठिनः । तदा प्रकृतयः सप्त कल्पन्ते प्रलयाय वै ।। १२-४-५ ।।

sanskrit

When the two halves of the lifetime of Lord Brahmā, the most elevated created being, are complete, the seven basic elements of creation are annihilated. ।। 12-4-5 ।।

english translation

जब सबसे श्रेष्ठ सृजित प्राणी, भगवान ब्रह्मा के जीवनकाल के दो भाग पूरे हो जाते हैं, तो सृष्टि के सात मूल तत्व नष्ट हो जाते हैं। ।। १२-४-५ ।।

hindi translation

dviparArdhe tvatikrAnte brahmaNaH parameSThinaH | tadA prakRtayaH sapta kalpante pralayAya vai || 12-4-5 ||
