In the Kali age people tend to be greedy, ill-behaved and merciless, and they fight one another without good reason. Unfortunate and obsessed with material desires, the people of Kali-yuga are almost all śūdras and barbarians. ।। 12-3-25 ।।

कलियुग में लोग लालची, बुरे व्यवहार वाले और निर्दयी होते हैं और वे बिना किसी उचित कारण के एक दूसरे से लड़ते हैं। दुर्भाग्यशाली और भौतिक इच्छाओं से ग्रस्त कलियुग के लोग लगभग सभी शूद्र और बर्बर हैं। ।। १२-३-२५ ।।
