By the time the Age of Kali ends, the bodies of all creatures will be greatly reduced in size, and the religious principles of followers of varṇāśrama will be ruined. The path of the Vedas will be completely forgotten in human society, and so-called religion will be mostly atheistic. ।। 12-2-12 ।।

कलियुग के समाप्त होने तक, सभी प्राणियों के शरीर का आकार बहुत कम हो जाएगा, और वर्णाश्रम के अनुयायियों के धार्मिक सिद्धांत नष्ट हो जाएंगे। मानव समाज में वेदों का मार्ग पूर्णतः विस्मृत हो जायेगा तथा तथाकथित धर्म अधिकतर नास्तिक हो जायेगा। ।। १२-२-१२ ।।
