मथुरायां निवसता यदुचक्रस्य यत्प्रियम् । कृतमुद्धवरामाभ्यां युतेन हरिणा द्विजाः ॥ १२-१२-३६ ॥
Then, O brāhmaṇas, this scripture recounts how Lord Hari, while residing in Mathurā in the company of Uddhava and Balarāma, performed pastimes for the satisfaction of the Yadu dynasty. ॥ 12-12-36 ॥

फिर, हे ब्राह्मणों, यह ग्रंथ बताता है कि कैसे भगवान हरि ने, उद्धव और बलराम की संगति में मथुरा में रहते हुए, यदु वंश की संतुष्टि के लिए लीलाएं कीं। ॥ १२-१२-३६ ॥

जरासन्धसमानीतसैन्यस्य बहुशो वधः । घातनं यवनेन्द्रस्य कुशस्थल्या निवेशनम् ॥ १२-१२-३७ ॥
Also described are the annihilation of each of the many armies brought by Jarāsandha, the killing of the barbarian king Kālayavana and the establishment of Dvārakā City. ॥ 12-12-37 ॥

जरासंध द्वारा लाई गई कई सेनाओं में से प्रत्येक का विनाश, बर्बर राजा कालयवन की हत्या और द्वारका शहर की स्थापना का भी वर्णन किया गया है। ॥ १२-१२-३७ ॥

आदानं पारिजातस्य सुधर्मायाः सुरालयात् । रुक्मिण्या हरणं युद्धे प्रमथ्य द्विषतो हरेः ॥ १२-१२-३८ ॥
This work also describes how Lord Kṛṣṇa brought from heaven the pārijāta tree and the Sudharmā assembly hall, and how He kidnapped Rukmiṇī by defeating all His rivals in battle. ॥ 12-12-38 ॥

इस कृति में यह भी वर्णन किया गया है कि कैसे भगवान कृष्ण स्वर्ग से पारिजात वृक्ष और सुधर्मा सभा कक्ष लाए थे, और कैसे उन्होंने युद्ध में अपने सभी प्रतिद्वंद्वियों को हराकर रुक्मिणी का अपहरण कर लिया। ॥ १२-१२-३८ ॥

हरस्य जृम्भणं युद्धे बाणस्य भुजकृन्तनम् । प्राग्ज्योतिषपतिं हत्वा कन्यानां हरणं च यत् ॥ १२-१२-३९ ॥
Also narrated are how Lord Kṛṣṇa, in the battle with Bāṇāsura, defeated Lord Śiva by making him yawn, how the Lord cut off Bāṇāsura’s arms, and how He killed the master of Prāgjyotiṣapura and then rescued the young princesses held captive in that city. ॥ 12-12-39 ॥

यह भी बताया गया है कि कैसे भगवान कृष्ण ने बाणासुर के साथ युद्ध में भगवान शिव को जम्हाई दिलाकर पराजित किया, कैसे भगवान ने बाणासुर की भुजाएँ काट दीं, और कैसे उन्होंने प्रागज्योतिषपुर के स्वामी को मार डाला और फिर उस शहर में बंदी बनाई गई युवा राजकुमारियों को बचाया। ॥ १२-१२-३९ ॥

चैद्यपौण्ड्रकशाल्वानां दन्तवक्त्रस्य दुर्मतेः । शम्बरो द्विविदः पीठो मुरः पञ्चजनादयः ॥ १२-१२-४० ॥
There are descriptions of the powers and the deaths of the King of Cedi, Pauṇḍraka, Śālva, the foolish Dantavakra, Śambara, Dvivida, Pīṭha, Mura, Pañcajana and other demons, along with a description of how Vārāṇasī was burned to the ground. ॥ 12-12-40 ॥
