हरस्य जृम्भणं युद्धे बाणस्य भुजकृन्तनम् । प्राग्ज्योतिषपतिं हत्वा कन्यानां हरणं च यत् ।। १२-१२-३९ ।।

sanskrit

Also narrated are how Lord Kṛṣṇa, in the battle with Bāṇāsura, defeated Lord Śiva by making him yawn, how the Lord cut off Bāṇāsura’s arms, and how He killed the master of Prāgjyotiṣapura and then rescued the young princesses held captive in that city. ।। 12-12-39 ।।

english translation

यह भी बताया गया है कि कैसे भगवान कृष्ण ने बाणासुर के साथ युद्ध में भगवान शिव को जम्हाई दिलाकर पराजित किया, कैसे भगवान ने बाणासुर की भुजाएँ काट दीं, और कैसे उन्होंने प्रागज्योतिषपुर के स्वामी को मार डाला और फिर उस शहर में बंदी बनाई गई युवा राजकुमारियों को बचाया। ।। १२-१२-३९ ।।
