दमनं कालियस्याहेर्महाहेर्नन्दमोक्षणम् । व्रतचर्या तु कन्यानां यत्र तुष्टोऽच्युतो व्रतैः ।। १२-१२-३१ ।।

sanskrit

The chastisement of the serpent Kāliya; the rescue of Nanda Mahārāja from a great snake; the severe vows performed by the young gopīs, who thus satisfied Lord Kṛṣṇa; ।। 12-12-31 ।।

english translation

कालिया नाग की ताड़ना; एक महान साँप से नंद महाराज का बचाव; युवा गोपियों द्वारा की गई कठोर प्रतिज्ञाएँ, जिन्होंने इस प्रकार भगवान कृष्ण को संतुष्ट किया; ।। १२-१२-३१ ।।

प्रसादो यज्ञपत्नीभ्यो विप्राणां चानुतापनम् । गोवर्धनोद्धारणं च शक्रस्य सुरभेरथ ।। १२-१२-३२ ।।

sanskrit

the mercy He showed the wives of the Vedic brāhmaṇas, who felt remorse; the lifting of Govardhana Hill followed by the worship and bathing ceremony performed by Indra and the Surabhi cow; ।। 12-12-32 ।।

english translation

उन्होंने वैदिक ब्राह्मणों की पत्नियों पर जो दया दिखाई, उन्हें पश्चाताप हुआ; गोवर्धन पर्वत को उठाने के बाद इंद्र और सुरभि गाय द्वारा की गई पूजा और स्नान समारोह; ।। १२-१२-३२ ।।

यज्ञाभिषेकं कृष्णस्य स्त्रीभिः क्रीडा च रात्रिषु । शङ्खचूडस्य दुर्बुद्धेर्वधोऽरिष्टस्य केशिनः ।। १२-१२-३३ ।।

Lord Kṛṣṇa’s nocturnal pastimes with the cowherd girls; and the killing of the foolish demons Śaṅkhacūḍa, Ariṣṭa and Keśī — all these pastimes are elaborately recounted. ।। 12-12-33 ।।

भगवान कृष्ण की ग्वालबालों के साथ रात्रि लीला; और मूर्ख राक्षस शंखचूड़, अरिष्ट और केशी का वध - इन सभी लीलाओं का विस्तार से वर्णन किया गया है। ।। १२-१२-३३ ।।

अक्रूरागमनं पश्चात्प्रस्थानं रामकृष्णयोः । व्रजस्त्रीणां विलापश्च मथुरालोकनं ततः ।। १२-१२-३४ ।।

The Bhāgavatam describes the arrival of Akrūra, the subsequent departure of Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma, the lamentation of the gopīs and the touring of Mathurā. ।। 12-12-34 ।।

भागवत में अक्रूर के आगमन, उसके बाद कृष्ण और बलराम के प्रस्थान, गोपियों के विलाप और मथुरा के भ्रमण का वर्णन है। ।। १२-१२-३४ ।।

गजमुष्टिकचाणूरकंसादीनां च यो वधः । मृतस्यानयनं सूनोः पुनः सान्दीपनेर्गुरोः ।। १२-१२-३५ ।।

Also narrated are how Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma killed the elephant Kuvalayāpīḍa, the wrestlers Muṣṭika and Cāṇūra, and Kaṁsa and other demons, as well as how Kṛṣṇa brought back the dead son of His spiritual master, Sāndīpani Muni. ।। 12-12-35 ।।

english translation

यह भी बताया गया है कि कैसे कृष्ण और बलराम ने हाथी कुवलयापीड, पहलवान मुष्टिक और चाणूर, और कंस और अन्य राक्षसों को मार डाला, साथ ही कैसे कृष्ण अपने आध्यात्मिक गुरु, सांदीपनि मुनि के मृत पुत्र को वापस लाए। ।। १२-१२-३५ ।।
