कालो देशः क्रिया कर्ता करणं कार्यमागमः । द्रव्यं फलमिति ब्रह्मन्नवधोक्तोऽजया हरिः ।। १२-११-३१ ।।

Being the source of the material energy, the Personality of Godhead Lord Hari in His expansion as the sun-god is described in nine aspects, O Śaunaka: the time, the place, the endeavor, the performer, the instrument, the specific ritual, the scripture, the paraphernalia of worship and the result to be achieved. ।। 12-11-31 ।।

english translation

भौतिक ऊर्जा का स्रोत होने के नाते, भगवान हरि के व्यक्तित्व को सूर्य-देवता के रूप में उनके विस्तार में नौ पहलुओं में वर्णित किया गया है, हे शौनक: समय, स्थान, प्रयास, कर्ता, साधन, विशिष्ट अनुष्ठान, शास्त्र, पूजा की सामग्री और प्राप्त होने वाला फल। ।। १२-११-३१ ।।
