एक एव हि लोकानां सूर्य आत्माऽऽदिकृद्धरिः । सर्ववेदक्रियामूलमृषिभिर्बहुधोदितः ।। १२-११-३० ।।
The sun-god, being nondifferent from Lord Hari, is the one soul of all the worlds and their original creator. He is the source of all the ritualistic activities prescribed in the Vedas and has been given many names by the Vedic sages. ।। 12-11-30 ।।

सूर्यदेव, भगवान हरि से अभिन्न होने के कारण, सभी लोकों की एक आत्मा और उनके मूल निर्माता हैं। वह वेदों में निर्धारित सभी कर्मकांडों का स्रोत है और वैदिक ऋषियों ने उसे कई नाम दिए हैं। ।। १२-११-३० ।।
