कपोतौ स्नेहगुणितहृदयौ गृहधर्मिणौ । दृष्टिं दृष्ट्याङ्गमङ्गेन बुद्धिं बुद्ध्या बबन्धतुः ॥ ११-७-५४ ॥
The two pigeons were very much devoted to their household duties. Their hearts being tied together by sentimental affection, they were each attracted by the other’s glances, bodily features and states of mind. Thus, they completely bound each other in affection. ॥ 11-7-54 ॥

दोनों कबूतर अपने घरेलू कर्तव्यों के प्रति बहुत समर्पित थे। उनके दिल भावनात्मक स्नेह से बंधे हुए थे, वे एक-दूसरे की नज़रों, शारीरिक विशेषताओं और मन की स्थिति से आकर्षित थे। इस प्रकार वे एक-दूसरे को स्नेह के बंधन में पूरी तरह बाँध गये। ॥ ११-७-५४ ॥
