श्रीभगवानुवाच यदुनैवं महाभागो ब्रह्मण्येन सुमेधसा । पृष्टः सभाजितः प्राह प्रश्रयावनतं द्विजः ॥ ११-७-३१ ॥
Lord Kṛṣṇa continued: The intelligent King Yadu, always respectful to the brāhmaṇas, waited with bowed head as the brāhmaṇa, pleased with the King’s attitude, began to reply. ॥ 11-7-31 ॥

भगवान कृष्ण ने आगे कहा: बुद्धिमान राजा यदु, जो हमेशा ब्राह्मणों का सम्मान करते थे, सिर झुकाए इंतजार करते रहे क्योंकि राजा के रवैये से प्रसन्न होकर ब्राह्मण ने जवाब देना शुरू कर दिया। ॥ ११-७-३१ ॥

ब्राह्मण उवाच सन्ति मे गुरवो राजन् बहवो बुद्ध्युपाश्रिताः । यतो बुद्धिमुपादाय मुक्तोऽटामीह तान् शृणु ॥ ११-७-३२ ॥
The brāhmaṇa said: My dear King, with my intelligence I have taken shelter of many spiritual masters. Having gained transcendental understanding from them, I now wander about the earth in a liberated condition. Please listen as I describe them to you. ॥ 11-7-32 ॥

ब्राह्मण ने कहा: हे राजन, मैंने अपनी बुद्धि से कई आध्यात्मिक गुरुओं की शरण ली है। उनसे दिव्य ज्ञान प्राप्त करके, मैं अब मुक्त अवस्था में पृथ्वी पर विचरण करता हूँ। कृपया सुनें जैसे मैं आपको उनका वर्णन करता हूँ। ॥ ११-७-३२ ॥

पृथिवी वायुराकाशमापोऽग्निश्चन्द्रमा रविः । कपोतोऽजगरः सिन्धुः पतङ्गो मधुकृद्गजः ॥ ११-७-३३ ॥
O King, I have taken shelter of twenty-four gurus, who are the following: the earth, air, sky, water, fire, moon, sun, pigeon and python; the sea, moth, honeybee, elephant and honey thief; ॥ 11-7-33 ॥

हे राजन, मैंने चौबीस गुरुओं की शरण ली है, जो इस प्रकार हैं: पृथ्वी, वायु, आकाश, जल, अग्नि, चंद्रमा, सूर्य, कबूतर और अजगर; समुद्र, पतंगा, मधुमक्खी, हाथी और शहद चोर; ॥ ११-७-३३ ॥

मधुहा हरिणो मीनः पिङ्गला कुररोऽर्भकः । कुमारी शरकृत्सर्प ऊर्णनाभिः सुपेशकृत् ॥ ११-७-३४ ॥
the deer, the fish, the prostitute Piṅgalā, the kurara bird and the child; and the young girl, arrow maker, serpent, spider and wasp. ॥ 11-7-34 ॥

हिरण, मछली, वेश्या पिंगल, कुरर पक्षी और बच्चा; और जवान लड़की, तीर बनाने वाली, साँप, मकड़ी और ततैया। ॥ ११-७-३४ ॥

एते मे गुरवो राजन् चतुर्विंशतिराश्रिताः । शिक्षा वृत्तिभिरेतेषामन्वशिक्षमिहात्मनः ॥ ११-७-३५ ॥
My dear King, by studying their activities I have learned the science of the self. ॥ 11-7-35 ॥
