कर्मण्यकोविदाः स्तब्धा मूर्खाः पण्डितमानिनः । वदन्ति चाटुकान् मूढा यया माध्व्या गिरोत्सुकाः ॥ ११-५-६ ॥
Ignorant of the art of work, such arrogantly proud fools, enchanted and enlivened by the sweet words of the Vedas, pose as learned authorities and offer flattering entreaties to the demigods. ॥ 11-5-6 ॥

काम की कला से अनभिज्ञ, ऐसे अहंकारी मूर्ख, वेदों के मधुर शब्दों से मंत्रमुग्ध और उत्साहित होकर, विद्वान अधिकारियों के रूप में प्रस्तुत होते हैं और देवताओं से चापलूसी की प्रार्थना करते हैं। ॥ ११-५-६ ॥
