इत्थं कर्मगतीर्गच्छन् बह्वभद्रवहाः पुमान् । आभूतसम्प्लवात्सर्गप्रलयावश्नुतेऽवशः ।। ११-३-७ ।।

sanskrit

Thus the conditioned living entity is forced to experience repeated birth and death. Impelled by the reactions of his own activities, he helplessly wanders from one inauspicious situation to another, suffering from the moment of creation until the time of cosmic annihilation. ।। 11-3-7 ।।

english translation

इस प्रकार बद्ध जीव को बार-बार जन्म और मृत्यु का अनुभव करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ता है। अपनी ही गतिविधियों की प्रतिक्रियाओं से प्रेरित होकर, वह असहाय होकर एक अशुभ स्थिति से दूसरी स्थिति में भटकता रहता है, सृजन के क्षण से लेकर ब्रह्मांडीय विनाश के समय तक पीड़ित होता है। ।। ११-३-७ ।।
