गुडपायससर्पींषि शष्कुल्यापूपमोदकान् । संयावदधिसूपांश्च नैवेद्यं सति कल्पयेत् ॥ ११-२७-३४ ॥
Within his means, the devotee should arrange to offer Me sugar candy, sweet rice, ghee, śaṣkulī [rice-flour cakes], āpūpa [various sweet cakes], modaka [steamed rice-flour dumplings filled with sweet coconut and sugar], saṁyāva [wheat cakes made with ghee and milk and covered with sugar and spices], yogurt, vegetable soups and other palatable foods. ॥ 11-27-34 ॥
english translation
अपने सामर्थ्य के अनुसार, भक्त को मुझे मिश्री, मीठे चावल, घी, शश्कुली [चावल के आटे के केक], अपूपा [विभिन्न मीठे केक], मोदका [मीठे नारियल और चीनी से भरे चावल के आटे के पकौड़े], सायाव अर्पित करने की व्यवस्था करनी चाहिए। [घी और दूध से बने और चीनी और मसालों से ढके गेहूं के केक], दही, सब्जियों के सूप और अन्य स्वादिष्ट खाद्य पदार्थ। ॥ ११-२७-३४ ॥
