बोधितस्यापि देव्या मे सूक्तवाक्येन दुर्मतेः । मनो गतो महामोहो नापयात्यजितात्मनः ॥ ११-२६-१६ ॥
Because I allowed my intelligence to become dull and because I failed to control my senses, the great confusion in my mind did not go away, even though Urvaśī herself gave me wise counsel with well-spoken words. ॥ 11-26-16 ॥

चूँकि मैंने अपनी बुद्धि को कुंठित होने दिया और चूँकि मैं अपनी इन्द्रियों को वश में करने में असफल रहा, इसलिए मेरे मन का बड़ा भ्रम दूर नहीं हुआ, यद्यपि स्वयं उर्वशी ने मुझे अच्छे शब्दों में बुद्धिमान सलाह दी। ॥ ११-२६-१६ ॥
