पुरुषः प्रकृतिर्व्यक्तमहङ्कारो नभोऽनिलः । ज्योतिरापः क्षितिरिति तत्त्वान्युक्तानि मे नव ॥ ११-२२-१४ ॥

I have described the nine basic elements as the enjoying soul, nature, nature’s primeval manifestation of the mahat-tattva, false ego, ether, air, fire, water and earth. ॥ 11-22-14 ॥

english translation

मैंने नौ मूल तत्वों का वर्णन आनंद लेने वाली आत्मा, प्रकृति, प्रकृति की आदिम अभिव्यक्ति महत्-तत्व, मिथ्या अहंकार, आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल और पृथ्वी के रूप में किया है। ॥ ११-२२-१४ ॥
