किं विधत्ते किमाचष्टे किमनूद्य विकल्पयेत् । इत्यस्या हृदयं लोके नान्यो मद्वेद कश्चन ।। ११-२१-४२ ।।

In the entire world no one but Me actually understands the confidential purpose of Vedic knowledge. Thus people do not know what the Vedas are actually prescribing in the ritualistic injunctions of karma-kāṇḍa, or what object is actually being indicated in the formulas of worship found in the upāsanā-kāṇḍa, or that which is elaborately discussed through various hypotheses in the jñāna-kāṇḍa section of the Vedas. ।। 11-21-42 ।।

english translation

संपूर्ण विश्व में मेरे अलावा कोई भी वास्तव में वैदिक ज्ञान के गोपनीय उद्देश्य को नहीं समझता है। इस प्रकार लोग नहीं जानते कि वेद वास्तव में कर्मकांड के अनुष्ठानिक आदेशों में क्या बता रहे हैं, या उपासना-कांड में पाए जाने वाले पूजा के सूत्रों में वास्तव में किस वस्तु का संकेत दिया जा रहा है, या जिसकी विभिन्न परिकल्पनाओं के माध्यम से विस्तृत चर्चा की गई है। वेदों का ज्ञान-काण्ड खंड। ।। ११-२१-४२ ।।
