छन्दोमयोऽमृतमयः सहस्रपदवीं प्रभुः । ओङ्काराद्व्यञ्जितस्पर्शस्वरोष्मान्तस्थभूषिताम् ।। ११-२१-३९ ।।

sanskrit

Thus the Lord, from the ethereal sky of His heart, creates the great and limitless Vedic sound by the agency of His mind, which conceives of variegated sounds such as the sparśas. The Vedic sound branches out in thousands of directions, adorned with the different letters expanded from the syllable om: the consonants, vowels, sibilants and semivowels. ।। 11-21-39 ।।

english translation

इस प्रकार भगवान, अपने हृदय के अलौकिक आकाश से, अपने मन की सहायता से महान और असीमित वैदिक ध्वनि की रचना करते हैं, जो स्पर्श जैसी विविध ध्वनियों की कल्पना करती है। वैदिक ध्वनि हजारों दिशाओं में फैलती है, जो ओम शब्दांश से विस्तारित विभिन्न अक्षरों से सुशोभित होती है: व्यंजन, स्वर, सहोदर और अर्धस्वर। ।। ११-२१-३९ ।।
