ब्रह्मचर्यं तपः शौचं सन्तोषो भूतसौहृदम् । गृहस्थस्याप्यृतौ गन्तुः सर्वेषां मदुपासनम् ।। ११-१८-४३ ।।

sanskrit

A householder may approach his wife for sex only at the time prescribed for begetting children. Otherwise, the householder should practice celibacy, austerity, cleanliness of mind and body, satisfaction in his natural position, and friendship toward all living entities. Worship of Me is to be practiced by all human beings, regardless of social or occupational divisions. ।। 11-18-43 ।।

english translation

एक गृहस्थ अपनी पत्नी से केवल बच्चे पैदा करने के लिए निर्धारित समय पर ही सेक्स के लिए संपर्क कर सकता है। अन्यथा, गृहस्थ को ब्रह्मचर्य, तपस्या, मन और शरीर की स्वच्छता, अपनी प्राकृतिक स्थिति में संतुष्टि और सभी जीवित प्राणियों के प्रति मित्रता का अभ्यास करना चाहिए। सामाजिक या व्यावसायिक विभाजनों की परवाह किए बिना, मेरी पूजा सभी मनुष्यों द्वारा की जानी चाहिए। ।। ११-१८-४३ ।।
