यस्त्वसंयतषड्वर्गः प्रचण्डेन्द्रियसारथिः । ज्ञानवैराग्यरहितस्त्रिदण्डमुपजीवति ।। ११-१८-४० ।।

sanskrit

One who has not controlled the six forms of illusion [lust, anger, greed, excitement, false pride and intoxication], whose intelligence, the leader of the senses, is extremely attached to material things, who is bereft of knowledge and detachment, who adopts the sannyāsa order of life to make a living, ।। 11-18-40 ।।

english translation

जिसने छः प्रकार की माया (काम, क्रोध, लोभ, उत्तेजना, मिथ्या अभिमान और नशा) को वश में नहीं किया है, जिसकी बुद्धि, इंद्रियों की नेता, भौतिक वस्तुओं में अत्यधिक आसक्त है, जो ज्ञान और वैराग्य से रहित है जीविकोपार्जन के लिए जीवन का संन्यास क्रम अपनाता है, ।। ११-१८-४० ।।
