तेन प्रोक्ता च पुत्राय मनवे पूर्वजाय सा । ततो भृग्वादयोऽगृह्णन् सप्त ब्रह्ममहर्षयः ॥ ११-१४-४ ॥
Lord Brahmā spoke this Vedic knowledge to his eldest son, Manu, and the seven great sages headed by Bhṛgu Muni then accepted the same knowledge from Manu. ॥ 11-14-4 ॥

भगवान ब्रह्मा ने इस वैदिक ज्ञान को अपने सबसे बड़े पुत्र मनु को बताया और फिर भृगु मुनि के नेतृत्व में सात महान ऋषियों ने मनु से वही ज्ञान स्वीकार किया। ॥ ११-१४-४ ॥
