Srimad Bhagavatam
धर्मो रजस्तमो हन्यात्सत्त्ववृद्धिरनुत्तमः । आशु नश्यति तन्मूलो ह्यधर्म उभये हते ॥ ११-१३-३ ॥
Religious principles, strengthened by the mode of goodness, destroy the influence of passion and ignorance. When passion and ignorance are overcome, their original cause, irreligion, is quickly vanquished. ॥ 11-13-3 ॥

सतोगुण से मजबूत धार्मिक सिद्धांत रजोगुण और अज्ञान के प्रभाव को नष्ट कर देते हैं। जब जुनून और अज्ञान पर काबू पा लिया जाता है, तो उनका मूल कारण, अधर्म, तुरंत खत्म हो जाता है। ॥ ११-१३-३ ॥
