Srimad Bhagavatam
अथर्वाङ्गिरसामासीत्सुमन्तुर्दारुणो मुनिः । इतिहासपुराणानां पिता मे रोमहर्षणः ॥ १-४-२२ ॥
The Sumantu Muni Aṅgirā, who was very devotedly engaged, was entrusted with the Atharva Veda. And my father, Romaharṣaṇa, was entrusted with the Purāṇas and historical records. ॥ 1-4-22 ॥

अत्यन्त अनुरक्त रहने वाले सुमन्तु मुनि अंगिरा को अथर्ववेद सौंपा गया और मेरे पिता रोमहर्षण को पुराण तथा इतिहास सौंपे गये। ॥ १-४-२२ ॥
