अथैतानि न सेवेत बुभूषुः पुरुषः क्वचित् । विशेषतो धर्मशीलो राजा लोकपतिर्गुरुः ॥ १-१७-४१ ॥
Therefore, whoever desires progressive well-being, especially kings, religionists, public leaders, brāhmaṇas and sannyāsīs, should never come in contact with the four above-mentioned irreligious principles. ॥ 1-17-41 ॥

अतएव जो कोई भी, विशेष रूप से जो राजा, धर्मोपदेशक, जननेता, ब्राह्मण तथा संन्यासी जो अपनी भलाई चाहते हैं, उन्हें उपर्युक्त चार अधार्मिक कार्यों के सम्पर्क में कभी नहीं आना चाहिए। ॥ १-१७-४१ ॥
