यद्यप्यसौ पार्श्वगतो रहोगतस्तथापि तस्याङ्घ्रियुगं नवं नवम् । पदे पदे का विरमेत तत्पदाच्चलापि यच्छ्रीर्न जहाति कर्हिचित् ॥ १-११-३३ ॥
Although Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa was constantly by their sides, as well as exclusively alone, His feet appeared to them to be newer and newer. The goddess of fortune, although by nature always restless and moving, could not quit the Lord’s feet. So what woman can be detached from those feet, having once taken shelter of them? ॥ 1-11-33 ॥

यद्यपि भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण निरन्तर उनके पास थे और बिल्कुल अकेले भी थे, तो भी उनके चरण उन्हें नवीनतर लग रहे थे। यद्यपि लक्ष्मी जी स्वभाव से चंचल हैं, लेकिन वे भी भगवान् के चरणों को नहीं छोड़ती थीं। तो भला जो स्त्री एक बार उन चरणों की शरण में जा चुकी हो, वह उनसे किस प्रकार विलग की जा सकती है? ॥ १-११-३३ ॥
