ज्ञात्वा देवं विरूपाक्षं ब्रह्मनारायणौ तदा ॥ रचयित्वांजलिं मूर्ध्नि भीतौ तौ वाचमूचतुः ॥ ६१ ॥
Then Lord Brahmā and Lord Nārāyaṇa recognized Lord Virūpākṣa. They both folded their hands on their heads and spoke to each other in fear.
english translation
jJAtvA devaM virUpAkSaM brahmanArAyaNau tadA ॥ racayitvAMjaliM mUrdhni bhItau tau vAcamUcatuH ॥ 61 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्रह्मोवाच ॥ अज्ञो वाहमभिज्ञो वा त्वयादौ देव निर्मितः ॥ ईदृशीं भ्रांतिमापन्न इति को ऽत्रापराध्यति ॥ ६२ ॥
Brahmā said:— Whether I am ignorant or not, O lord, I was created by you at the beginning. Whose fault is it that I have been under such a delusion?
english translation
brahmovAca ॥ ajJo vAhamabhijJo vA tvayAdau deva nirmitaH ॥ IdRzIM bhrAMtimApanna iti ko 'trAparAdhyati ॥ 62 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआस्तां ममेदमज्ञानं त्वयि सन्निहते प्रभो ॥ निर्भयः को ऽभिभाषेत कृत्यं स्वस्य परस्य वा ॥ ६३ ॥
Let my ignorance alone. O lord, when you are near who can fearlessly talk about his duly or that of others.
english translation
AstAM mamedamajJAnaM tvayi sannihate prabho ॥ nirbhayaH ko 'bhibhASeta kRtyaM svasya parasya vA ॥ 63 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआवयोर्देवदेवस्य विवादो ऽपि हि शोभनः ॥ पादप्रणामफलदो नाथस्य भवतो यतः ॥ ६४ ॥
O lord of gods, our mutual wrangle too is splendidly auspicious since it has yielded us the benefit of paying our homage to the feet of the lord.
english translation
Avayordevadevasya vivAdo 'pi hi zobhanaH ॥ pAdapraNAmaphalado nAthasya bhavato yataH ॥ 64 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविष्णुरुवाच स्तोतुं देव न वागस्ति महिम्नः सदृशी तव ॥ प्रभोरग्रे विधेयानां तूष्णींभावो व्यतिक्रमः ॥ ६५ ॥
Viṣṇu said:— O lord, I do not have the power of eulogising you in the manner befitting your greatness. On the other hand if the devotees keep quiet in front of the lord it is merely a transgression of virtue.
english translation
viSNuruvAca stotuM deva na vAgasti mahimnaH sadRzI tava ॥ prabhoragre vidheyAnAM tUSNIMbhAvo vyatikramaH ॥ 65 ॥
