पिंडीकृत्य शिवाग्न्यादौ तत्क्षिपेन्मूलमंत्रतः ॥ अपक्वमतिपाक्वं च संत्यज्य भसितं सितम् ॥ ५६ ॥
After making a lump of this mixture, one should chant the root mantra and throw it into the fire of Lord Śiva. Leave the uncooked and overcooked and roasted white.
english translation
piMDIkRtya zivAgnyAdau tatkSipenmUlamaMtrataH ॥ apakvamatipAkvaM ca saMtyajya bhasitaM sitam ॥ 56 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआदाय वा समालोड्य भस्माधारे विनिक्षिपेत् ॥ तैजसं दारवं वापि मृन्मयं शैलमेव च ॥ ५७ ॥
Or one may take it and roll it up and place it on a pile of ashes. Taijasa or Darva or clay or rock.
english translation
AdAya vA samAloDya bhasmAdhAre vinikSipet ॥ taijasaM dAravaM vApi mRnmayaM zailameva ca ॥ 57 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्यद्वा शोभनं शुद्धं भस्माधारं प्रकल्पयेत् ॥ समे देशे शुभे शुद्धे धनवद्भस्म निक्षिपेत् ॥ ५८ ॥
Or else one should prepare a beautiful, pure ash base. The ashes should be placed in a level, auspicious and clean place.
english translation
anyadvA zobhanaM zuddhaM bhasmAdhAraM prakalpayet ॥ same deze zubhe zuddhe dhanavadbhasma nikSipet ॥ 58 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन चायुक्तकरे दद्यान्नैवाशुचितले क्षिपेत् ॥ न संस्पृशेच्च नीचांगैर्नोपेक्षेत न लंघयेत् ॥ ५९ ॥
It should not be placed in a proper hand or thrown on an unclean surface. He should not touch the lower parts of the body nor ignore them nor cross them.
english translation
na cAyuktakare dadyAnnaivAzucitale kSipet ॥ na saMspRzecca nIcAMgairnopekSeta na laMghayet ॥ 59 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्माद्भसितमादाय विनियुंजीत मन्त्रतः ॥ कालेषूक्तेषु नान्यत्र नायोग्येभ्यः प्रदापयेत् ॥ ६० ॥
Therefore one should take the burnt offering and chant the mantra. It should not be given to those who are not worthy elsewhere at the times mentioned.

tasmAdbhasitamAdAya viniyuMjIta mantrataH ॥ kAleSUkteSu nAnyatra nAyogyebhyaH pradApayet ॥ 60 ॥
