तत्कर्म भूयशः कृत्वा विनिवृत्य च भूयशः ॥ तत्त्वस्य सह तत्त्वेन योगं चापि समेत्य वै ॥ ५१ ॥

After performing that act with great fame and withdrawing from it with great fame By merging with the essence of the essence and with the essence of yoga.

tatkarma bhUyazaH kRtvA vinivRtya ca bhUyazaH ॥ tattvasya saha tattvena yogaM cApi sametya vai ॥ 51 ॥

अष्टाभिश्च त्रिभिश्चैवं द्वाभ्यां चैकेन वा पुनः ॥ कालेनात्मगुणैश्चापि कृत्स्नमेव जगत्स्वयम् ॥ ५२ ॥

The same may be done with eight, three, two or one. By time and by its own qualities the entire universe itself is created.

aSTAbhizca tribhizcaivaM dvAbhyAM caikena vA punaH ॥ kAlenAtmaguNaizcApi kRtsnameva jagatsvayam ॥ 52 ॥

गुणैरारभ्य कर्माणि स्वभावादीनि योजयेत् ॥ तेषामभावे नाशः स्यात्कृतस्यापि च कर्मणः ॥ ५३ ॥

sanskrit

Starting with the modes of nature, one should engage in activities such as one’s own nature. In their absence there would be destruction of even the action performed.

guNairArabhya karmANi svabhAvAdIni yojayet ॥ teSAmabhAve nAzaH syAtkRtasyApi ca karmaNaH ॥ 53 ॥

कर्मक्षये पुनश्चान्यत्ततो याति स तत्त्वतः ॥ स एवादिस्स्वयं योगनिमित्तं भोक्तृभोगयोः ॥ ५४ ॥

When these are quelled he goes to another world. This is the cause of union of the two—the enjoyer and the enjoyed.

karmakSaye punazcAnyattato yAti sa tattvataH ॥ sa evAdissvayaM yoganimittaM bhoktRbhogayoH ॥ 54 ॥

परस्त्रिकालादकलस्स एव परमेश्वरः ॥ सर्ववित्त्रिगुणाधीशो ब्रह्मसाक्षात्परात्परः ॥ ५५ ॥

Lord alone is beyond the three times. He is attributeless, the knower of all, the lord of the three attributes. He is brahman itself greater than the greatest.

parastrikAlAdakalassa eva paramezvaraH ॥ sarvavittriguNAdhIzo brahmasAkSAtparAtparaH ॥ 55 ॥
