कृत्वा ऽभिषेकं लिंगस्य शुचिना च सुगंधिना ॥ संमृज्य वाससा दद्यादंबरं चोपवीतकम् ॥ ५२ ॥

After performing the ablution of the phallic idol it shall be wiped with a pure fragrant cloth. The devotee shall then offer garment and the sacred thread.

english translation

kRtvA 'bhiSekaM liMgasya zucinA ca sugaMdhinA ॥ saMmRjya vAsasA dadyAdaMbaraM copavItakam ॥ 52 ॥
