अर्धनारीश्वरे पूज्ये पौर्वापर्यं न विद्यते ॥ तत्र तत्रोपचाराणां लिंगे वान्यत्र वा क्वचित् ॥ ५१ ॥
When the half-female form of the lord is to be worshipped, no serial order in the performance of rites shall be observed. Similarly in regard to the services rendered to the phallic or the embodied image.
